The Author<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Marcelo Kohn<\/strong> (1958), is a Chilean photographer, self-taught, with more than forty-five years of professional experience. His work is articulated around a deep investigation of the image as a technical construction and a space for expression, with a sustained emphasis on lighting, the manipulation of analog and digital processes, and formal impeccability.<\/p>\n

Trained in analog photography, he developed pioneering work in special effects\u2014laboratory techniques, scenography, and truca\u2014later integrating digital imaging from this foundational experience. His work explores landscapes, nudes, still lifes, and conceptual compositions, always through a reflection on light and its impact on objects and bodies.<\/p>\n

Through rigorous composition and carefully constructed lighting, Kohn seeks to generate images that invite introspection, proposing a visual balance that, even when unsettling, sustains contemplation and equanimity.<\/p>\n

He currently produces and exhibits his authorial work from his studio in La Reina, Santiago, Chile.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
