Other Worlds
A photographic series of 35 pieces in digital format.
Years 2018 to 2026.
Series in development.
These images are born from an experience that shifted my gaze. When I began to dive and entered the underwater landscape, I felt that I was facing another world: a space with no above or below, where the body floats, time stretches, and perception changes.
That experience merged with a visual memory that has lived within me for years—painting, comics, science fiction—and gave form to these landscapes where reality folds in on itself.
That altered perception became image, in dialogue with a visual memory that accompanies me: Moebius and The Incal, Frank Frazetta.
In Other Worlds, the sky is no longer above and the seabed is no longer below. Everything floats. Everything migrates. Creatures move through space as if it were water. Each image is a suspended panel, without before or after. I do not speak of the future or of fantasy, but of an intimate experience where imagination becomes a form of knowledge.
These worlds do not exist. And yet, they insist.
